Inserted in Getty copy are 7 slips from booksellers' catalogs listing the present work, a printed port. of Francesco de' Guicciardini after Giuseppe Marrubini taken from a publication of 1853, and 2 folded sheets (each 37 x 27 cm.) with collotype reproductions of manuscripts: Cod. VI, p. 1 (Cod. Med. Palat. no. CLXVI, vol. I, della R. Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana), and: Cod. V App., p. 4 (Ms. D 3, fasc. 1., dell'Archivio della Famiglia Guicciardini). There are also two MS notes from Paolo Guicciardini to Middeldorf, dated 30 May 1930 and 1 Sept. 1930, concerning photographs of Guicciardini's "busto del Robbia" which he is sending Middeldorf in exchange for the "edizione guicciardiniana" that Middeldorf obtained for him
